About me!

Hi! My name is Lisa. This year I've started an exciting new journey as a second grade teacher. For the past several years I taught fifth grade. Fifth grade is awesome; I loved all the science, the wonderful chapter books and the fact that my kids "got" my jokes. Last spring I was looking for a change, and couldn't be more excited about 2nd grade. The kids are THRILLED to learn every single day! Their spongy little brains absorb everything and they can't wait to be at school with me every day... slightly different than some of those jaded older kids. In facts sometimes I have to shove them out the door at the end of the day! Ha! When I'm not teaching, I'm spending time with my husband, in the garden, with our two dogs or in the mountains.
